Salvation ( σωτηρία) sōtēria: (rescue or safety (physically or morally): - deliver, health, salvation, save, saving)

The word “Salvation” technically it can mean “deliverance.”  But deliverance from what?  Deliverance from our sinful nature Romans 6:14, 18)!  So, when someone says that are “Saved.”  Technically, that is not completely true.  Salvation has three tenses: past, present, and future.

Past: (Ephesians 2:8-9) Deliverance from past sins of the sinful nature because they are forgiven and its penalty of sin has been paid or fulfilled by Christ’s death, fulfilling that requirement of the law to begin the process of Reconciliation.

Present: Sanctification: (Colossian 2:13) through the Holy Spirit so that imputation from Christ can begin resulting in being transformed into His image which leads to fulfilling the final step that leads and meets the qualification for to being resurrected in Christ.

Future: ( 1 Corinthian 15:53-54) Resurrection of the Believers: glorified through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, transforming them to be like Christ's glorious body to live in His presence forever with the realization of all the rights and privileges that are associated with in being Sons of God (Philippians 3:21).

Now, let us explore this Salvation that leads to being Reconciled with God!

Let us begin by reviewing what it means to be BORN AGAIN!  If you don’t understand how and why we are born, we can’t understand the subsequent phases that must take before the resurrection of being a Believer can take place.
